K A Austin

Kate Austin originated from the Cotswolds in England. She grew up in the countryside, running through woodland, climbing trees, wading streams and loosing numerous pairs of shoes in the process.

As a child she had two great loves, art and reading and she spent many fantastical nights under the blankets with a torch and the latest book.

She went on to have a family and added to it as a foster carer, this was a fulfilling time of life and as they grew she grew with them.

After an experiential encounter, she returned to her love of art and began to log her journey as a Christian through art. You can see her work online at ChristArt.co.uk.

Later on in life, she trained as a Spiritual Director/Supervisor, retreat leader and Counsellor.

Following the Artwork, she went on to paint pictures with words and 'The Garden' was written. A year later, 'The Garden Beyond' and following on, 'The Garden Within'.

Each in the series focuses on a different relationship with the Trinity.

'The Garden' weaves its story around the relationship with God as Father. The child works alongside Him in a captivating and profound learning experience in the parallels of the Church.

'The Garden Beyond' relates the journey of accompanying Jesus into the world as a missionary servant of Love.

'The Garden Within' speaks of the inner relationship with the Holy and Beautiful Spirit. It enters the Garden of the spirit where in every Christian, the Kingdom of Heaven is to be found.
