What is a R A Stott?
R A Stott (AKA Robert A Stott, sometimes called Rabbit, sometimes called Idiot... mostly by his characters he's created), is a ancient baby boomer whose journey through creativity has taken him from hanging 100 feet off an industrial floor to photograph pipework one handed from a steel ladder, to drawing silly pictures for a national rocketry magazine, to writing stories and scripts for a famous animated transformational robot series (that went nowhere... the series was cancelled before any of his work could be done). He's been an art director, cartoonist, animator, writer, manufacturer and a store manager. He's a 'rocket scientist' (he designs and builds rockets), a computer mechanical expert (can tear a laptop down to its last screw, including its screen, and then put it all back together again... and yes, it still works), and he's mucked a few stables in his time. He writes fan fiction, knows typography, edits other people's works (lately, mostly his Mrs stuff, but also his father's, a long since departed copywriter), created a few logos for companies and otherwise understands the art of public relations. He's survived being struck by lightening twice, has had two heart attacks, and is probably working on his third. He tinkers, scrounges, cobbles and keeps old things working... mostly because he is cheap.
And he is pleased to have you read his work. Enjoy.
Oh, and he tends to be a bit of a procrastinator. He's had more stories in draft mode for over 20+ years than one should have the right to. Heck, the current book he has up here was originally created as a comic strip in 1983! And it only took him until 2016 to finally get it in book format! And he's got 15 more in its series penciled out! Got on it man! You don't have forever, ya know!
Ahem...
Again, he is pleased to have you all read his stories. Have fun!
Lazy no good....
