Joyce Long

Mother of two, Joyce Long enjoys time with her family, five grandchildren and her best friend/husband Al. She enjoys reading, writing and editing. When there is extra time, Joyce gardens, golfs and meets friends for coffee or lunch.

Joyce split her career in half. After college she taught eighth grade language arts and was in charge of the school's yearbook. When her children were older, she accepted a communications/marketing position at her church. Her writing began with nonfiction and now has landed on fiction, which is published under J.E. Laine. Joyce also enjoys writing feature articles for the local newspaper.

To unwind Al and Joyce enjoy PBS mysteries/dramas and take long walks and bike rides. In retirement they've enjoyed traveling throughout the United States and Europe.

Glorifying God is her life goal and Joyce prays that her writing touches people's hearts.
