Bruce Coyle

Bruce Coyle, a California native, grew up on the north coast, taught English and creative writing in Oakland for many years. "The Glory Road," his first novel, was named a finalist in the 2018 National Indie Excellence Awards in the Regional Fiction West category. His second novel,"Far from Glory," follows his characters as they serve in the Coast Guard during the war years. He is currently at work on a third novel, "Sawdust and Smoke," whose teenage characters explore a nearby ghost town and uncover clues to a mysterious disappearance.
