Lori Kline

Lori Sales Kline heralds from the folk-warm, but temperature-chilly land of Pittsburgh, PA, where she cultivated a love for writing and the richness of life steeped in Jewish practices. She relocated to Austin, Texas in 1984 (both folk and temperature-warm) to attain her undergraduate and then graduate degree in Speech/Language Pathology, which she has practiced for over 20 years. Lori relays that taking pen to paper has served as her means of expressing silly fun (see her first book, "Josiah's Dreams," © 2012), the dearness of traditional Judaic practice ("Almost a Minyan" being released the first week of April, 2017) and poetry that relays her hopes and turmoils (relegated, for the most part, in a closet). Lori and her husband, David, live in Austin where they love going camping, fostering dogs, and enjoy the city's reputation to, “Keep Austin weird.”
