Fran Watson

Fran is a Career Counsellor who assists job seekers with resumes, interview skills, dealing with problems at work and helping people with career transitions. She has been working in this field for over 30 years. You can find more information about this on her FranWatson.ca page.

In 1998 she participated in book produced by Womens' Speakers Association, which reached #1 Best Seller status. This led her to continue to work on her book of Poetry which she published in January entitled "From My Heart". This is a collection of poems written over the years as she journeyed through life as a mother, a divorcee, a student, and as she explored building new relationships. Previously some of these were available on Kindle.

She has shared this journey through articles and speeches, sharing some of the tips that got her through the hard times of separation and divorce, raising 4 children on her own, working full-time as a Career Counsellor, and beginning her university degree at age 38. She is proud to say that I she has 4 amazing, outstanding children who are her heroes and she is also blessed with six wonderful grandchildren and one great grandchild.
