Brenda Castro

Brenda Castro was born in Dallas, TX, but has been living in the Phoenix area since she was six years old. She obtained her bachelor's degree in bilingual elementary education from Arizona State University and is currently attending University of Mary to obtain her masters in education. Her work as a Catholic school librarian has surrounded her by wonderful books, which inspired her to write. Her first children's book is titled God's Easter Gifts, and it describes the season of Lent and the meaning of Easter. You can also learn about the lives of saints in her second book titled Jackie's Special Halloween, which describes the meaning of All Hallow's Eve and All Saints' Day. Brenda lives in Glendale, AZ with her husband and three children. In her spare time, she enjoys crocheting, hiking, and of course reading!
