Born in Sheffield, Yorkshire, son of a coal miner, now I live in Bournemouth.

I love travel, I have been asked to travel many times.

Had a scary flight last year, and though I love mountains, they seemed ominously close

I love everything nostalgic, vintage cars, buses, steam engines.

I love vintage weekends and WW2 re-enactments, hence my new book.

Love photography and video.

Love writing, especially 1940/50/60 periods.
