Jon Cole

Jon Cole lectured in Classical Archaeology, made five albums and saw the world with a band called The Movies, became an IT and Information Specialist for the NHS and local government, meanwhile writing short stories, proof-reading magazines and co-authoring a book on English grammar, though he often ignores his own advice. Now he spends all his time scribbling.

He is married, with two talented children, and a dog called Daisy. Much of his inspiration comes from her and from the wife he loves.

Enough of that Third Person. I am here to introduce my stories. First, Roamers Cross. Meant to be in three parts. Whether I live long enough to write the two further parts I planned, is not entirely in my hands. The end gives me goose-bumps.

Then, The Public Executioner. Gritty tale about life between the wars in Berlin.
