David D. Chen is a professor of kinesiology at California State University Fullerton. He has authored and co-authored more than 25 research articles in the areas of motor learning, sport psychology, stress management, and Tai Chi. He is also the author of a stress management and prevention textbook published by Routledge. His research interests include mindfulness practices, human performance under stress, feedback strategies in motor skill learning, and self-regulated learning. He has taught or is teaching stress management, motor control and motor dysfunction, motor control and learning, advanced studies in teaching human movement, motor development, sport psychology and Tai Chi. He has been a consultant of stress reduction for corporations and organizations and is an adjunct professor for an institute of oriental medicine in Los Angeles.
