K. L. (Karen Lea) McKee has had a passion for writing since she was a young girl. After raising two rambunctious boys and earning her B.A. in English from Regis University, she renewed her desire to write faith-based stories. Karen worked in the Reference Center of her local library for twenty-nine years, recently retiring to pursue writing full time. She is a member of Rocky Mountain Fiction Writers. She and her husband reside in Western Colorado, known for its fruit orchards, wineries, majestic mountains, spectacular canyons, and strikingly beautiful desert terrain. She enjoys knitting, music—playing and singing—tennis, pickle ball, the beautiful Western Colorado outdoors, and spending time with her family. Karen has published "Miracle a novella" and "In Name Only'" a full-length novel. She is currently working on her "North Fork" series, a collection of novels set in a fictional Western Colorado town. "Stolen Heart," the second book in the "North Fork" series, is a finalist in the 2020 Colorado Humanities Book Award for Romance.
