Asher Wyndham

Asher Wyndham plays have been produced all over the United States, also Canada, England and Australia. Theatres that have developed his work include Theatre InspiraTO in Toronto; Insignificant Theatre in London; Movement Theatre Company in NYC; Wordsmyth Theater Company and Mildred's Umbrella in Houston; Point of No Contention and Harper College in Chicago. His play CASSIUS SARGENT'S CHICKEN BONES was awarded the John Cauble Award for Outstanding Short Play at the Kennedy Center and a fellowship at the Eugene O'Neill Theater Center, and a mainstage reading and the Holland New Voices Award from the Great Plains Theatre Conference in Omaha. His play ALLEGRA (now titled THE PLATYPODES) was a semi-finalist for the Eugene O'Neill Playwrights Conference and a national finalist for the David Cohen Award from the Kennedy Center's ACTF.
