David Hatfield

David Hatfield has been interested in wordplay for over 30 years. He started collecting malaphors after he noticed a colleague uttering them constantly (usually after a few martinis). David operates a website at www.malaphors.com, where readers are invited to submit any malaphors they may have come across. He is a retired Administrative Law Judge, living the dream in Western Pennsylvania. "He Smokes Like a Fish and other Malaphors" was his first book on wordplay. His second book, "Things Are Not Rosy-Dory: Malaphors From Politicians and Pundits", is a collection of mashups from the 2016 Presidential election and subsequent four years.
