Dr. Nathan Goodyear currently works to teach the body how to heal at An Oasis of Healing, an Integrative Oncology clinic, in Mesa Arizona. Dr Goodyear graduated from Louisiana Tech University where he played college football. Dr Goodyear completed his M.D. at Louisiana Health Science Center in Shreveport and his residency at The University of Tennessee in Knoxville. His passion for Wellness began with his own 100-pound post-football career weight loss. Dr. Goodyear is dedicated to the Wellness Lifestyle through a solution-based, Functional Medicine approach founded in science. Dr. Goodyear has practiced Functional Medicine for 12+ years, is a Fellow in Functional and Regenerative Medicine and serves on the board of the American Functional Medicine Association. Dr. Goodyear's first book, Man Boob Nation--an Integrative Medicine Approach to Low Testosterone, was published in 2013 and his second book, Total Testosterone Transformation, published 4.1.2017. Dr. Goodyear regularly speaks to physicians and medical practitioners across the country on topics in Wellness Medicine and consults with physicians on how to implement and practice Wellness medicine. Dr Goodyear is married to his wife of 27 years and they have been blessed with 4 children.
