Heather Portenier

Heather Portenier is published in various newspapers, magazines and literary anthologies. Her first book, "Please Excuse the Mess," is a memoir about her son's recovery from a traumatic brain injury, and the many tragedies that followed over a six-year span and how they healed. In 2017, she released her first novella in a romance collection, titled "Flat Tire,” followed by “The Dandelion Hunter.”
