Billy’s books are written in the characteristic of their titles. Billy was born and raised in Lumberton, NC. After graduating from High School in 1968, He entered the Air Force. Upon his retirement after 20 years, Billy settled down in Kentucky. In October of 1988, he had his own life changing encounter with Jesus Christ, and found that relationship. He explains it in his books as, a white knuckle experience. Since then he has served as a Sunday School teacher, Sunday School Superintendent, Trustee, Chaplain in the prison and trucking ministry, in the Choir, and song leader; and also enjoys a ministry of singing gospel songs at the local nursing home and senior center.
