Horace Lackey

Horace Lackey is a native of the Mid-West. At age twenty-seven, he began his career as a Social Worker/Therapist. Shortly thereafter, he began to practice and teach yoga as an avocation. When his children were very young, he began writing short stories and fables for them. As a grandfather, he began writing poetry.

Horace’s philosophy is that authors should not be confused with what they write. The two may be quite different. Nor should they be considered anything special because of their writing. As authors may tell you, people they have known, or situations and books they have read surely have influenced them. For the most part what they write appears to come through them rather than from them. There have been many writers who have influenced Horace’s thinking and conclusions about life. The one person most influential was his grandfather whom he was named after. That influence grew from their genuine fondness of each other.
