Erin Gallagher

After scarcely receiving her high school diploma, Erin unceremoniously opted out of convention, knowing she'd make a better student of life. She dipped her toe into the dirty water of Boston's art and filmmaking scene, where she could be found at wild artist loft parties, shmoozing with some of Boston's most prolific underground filmmakers and artists. It was fast and hard living; messy, beautiful, ragged, beatific.

Erin got serious when she secured a “real” job as an Assistant Editor at companies such as WGBH and Powderhouse Productions. This led to many prestigious opportunities, including an invitation from Avid Technology to speak at Boston SuperMeet, a huge networking event and trade show for the entire New England film industry.

At the age of 34, Erin ended a 17-year love affair with alcohol, which completely altered the course of her life. She created ERINspirational, a brand under which she works as a Spiritual Life Coach, Tarot Card Reader and Reiki Practitioner. She is in-progress on her memoir, Junkie: A Working Title, a gripping story of her drug and alcohol addiction and subsequent recovery.
