Debby is a travel writer and longtime foodie who thrives on adventure. She currently blogs at savvyPassport. She has over ten years in the travel industry and perfected how to use her two days off.

Her first book, "girl lost – Found in France!" is a memoir that chronicles her journey from taking French lessons to owning an apartment in France. Her philosophy about travel is a prescription for getting out of your comfort zone, and experience other cultures...changing direction will change your mind.

Her passion is to inspire everyone to travel: from that well-planned vacation, or taking advantage of those few personal hours on a business trip…even the “incidental” tourist excursion.

Her biggest journey was obtaining Italian Citizenship. Debby has a strong attachment to the Mediterranean area and while in the South of France, she writes and makes Villefranche sur Mer a home-base for all her adventures, including food tours.
