Steve Goetz

Old MacDonald is Steve's first picture book. He was inspired to write it when his son Connor, a rambunctious 2 year old at the time, ran through the house singing Old MacDonald but instead of using traditional lyrics, inserted HAD A MONSTER TRUCK!!! That moment set off a series of "conversations" between Steve and Connor about Old MacDonald and the many amazing vehicles he must have had on his farm.

Steve lives in the San Francisco Bay Area with his wife and three kids. When he's not singing E I E I O he can be found in the local hills on his bike or on skis up in Tahoe.
