Roseann Meehan Kermes grew up in a house that encouraged creativity. Her mom was one of the founding mothers of Minnesota Quilters, Inc., and gave her her love for the tradition of quilting and handwork. In addition to working with fabric and wool, she also enjoys other forms of creative expression, such as paper crafts, decorative painting, and altered art. With a camera always in her pocket, she take lots of photos and shares them with others through social media.
The owner of Rosebud's Cottage in White Bear Lake, Minnesota for over 20 years, she has worked closely with customers, teaching them skills to enhance their creative enjoyment. Her projects have been featured in many publications, such as American Patchwork and Quilting, Quilts and More, and Primitive Quilts and Projects. In addition to being an author for Martingale/That Patchwork Place, she is a licensed designer for Ellison/Sizzix Educational Systems.
