J. Michael McFadden’s young sons Bob and Matt loved his imaginative bedtime stories of Larry and Leroy, two young boys of surprisingly similar ages who learn life lessons! Daughter Kathy also loved young princess Leia stories of a young heroine of similar age. This spurred the author to draft several children's short stories and two novels, but he still lacked a publisher. Keeping the dream alive, he founded the Writer’s Exchange for aspiring authors at the Muskegon's Barnes and Noble bookstore. This eventually led him to join Michigan’s Argon Press, allowing J. Michael to finally publish “Deidre’s Dawn,” a Celtic fantasy novel dedicated to daughter Kathy in October 2016. "Rising Darkness: Book 2 of the Enchantment" was released on Amazon on April 25th, 2018, dedicated to grandson Owen Andrew, son of Bob. As the best laid plans of mice and men often go astray, life intervened in plans for Book 3, the conclusion of the trilogy. The Enchantment Series, however, will continue!
