E G Cunningham

E.G. Cunningham was born in Columbia, South Carolina and grew up in Rome, Italy and Central Florida. Her poetry and prose have appeared in The Nation, The Poetry Review, Barrow Street, Puerto del Sol, Hobart, RHINO, Quiddity, Poetry London, 3:AM Magazine, Prick of the Spindle, Vinyl Poetry, Quiddity, Locomotive, Barrow Street, Drunken Boat, and other publications. She received the 2017 LUMINA Nonfiction Contest Award for her lyric essay "The Exedra." She holds an MFA in Creative Writing from the University of Iowa and a PhD in English from the University of Georgia. She teaches at the University of California, Merced.
