Michelle Jenkins

Michelle Jenkins is a North Carolina A&T State University graduate (December 1995) and North Carolina native now rooted in South Carolina. Her lifelong love of reading ignited a passion for writing that sparked a publishing career spanning over two decades and 50+ titles — from children's mysteries and nonfiction guides to journals, logbooks, and novels.

Her debut title, The Black Web Directory, launched her journey as an independent author and entrepreneur. She went on to create a beloved children's mystery series featuring four young detectives from Clueville, NC, and has authored standout nonfiction titles including Stepping Into My Purpose, a success organizer and gratitude journal, and Freshman Year Unlocked, a practical guide helping college freshmen confidently navigate their first year.

Michelle is the founder of Montsho Publishers LLC, her independent publishing imprint, through which she has built a catalog of purposeful, practical, and inspiring works.

With a background spanning the Midwest, the East Coast, and a seven-month chapter in Manchester, England, Michelle brings rich perspective, discipline, and purpose to everything she writes.
