Michelle Moore Winder

I have loved people’s stories since I was a young girl. I have always been intrigued by observing people’s behavior then filling in the missing parts. In High School, a few friends and I would regularly go to the airport in San Diego and people watch as we ate the best cheesecake on the market. On a dare, I upped the ante by faking an English accent and talking to people- getting their stories first hand. My friends joined in and it was our favorite pastime until gas prices went up to 50 cents a gallon! We just couldn’t afford to drive that far! (Thinking back on those stories, I realize we may not have been the only ones acting.)

As a 3rd degree Black Belt teaching self defense for many years, I’ve heard so many heart breaking stories. I realize that way too many people feel limited by their circumstances and/or life’s choices. I became a victim’s advocate in order to teach people to live a life of love, joy and peace. I’m passionate about helping people and writing allows me to help more in less time, as well as reach people I couldn’t otherwise reach.

I live in beautiful San Diego, Ca with my godly husband, Bill, who's been with me for 36 years. The Lord has blessed us beyond anything we could have imagined. We love to sail and travel and enjoy meeting new people. We have 2 amazing children, Billy, an avid Encinitas surfer and creative inventor and Aubrey, a true horse whisperer who's flown off to Lexington, KY following her dream working with Race Horses. – Michelle Winder
