Mark Eason has had a wealth of varied experiences that have motivated him to write. Publishing credits include two books now available on Amazon Kindle, The Complete Guide to Lease Options and Owner Financing and No Money, No Mission. Both books are based on the authors many years of extensive experience.
Mark grew up in Texas and attended Stephen F. Austin State University where he graduated with a B.S. in Education with an emphasis on Rehabilitation Administration. He spent several years working for the state of Texas as an Employment Specialist and then as Social Worker, specializing in Child Welfare. By the time he was twenty-five, he was the Executive Directory of a large non-profit facility in Houston, TX. In 1975, Mark was offered the opportunity to participate in Goodwill Industries International Executive Training program. For the next ten years, he was the CEO of two large non-profit companies in Florida and California. In 1985, the author shifted career gears and purchased a master franchise from an industrial maintenance provider. He was able to build that company, from ground zero, to a multi-million company prior to selling it in 1990. After the sale of his business, Mark and his wife moved to Florida where, relying on his many years of experience in both non and for profit enterprises, he became a consultant to non-profit organizations. In 2003, he received his MS degree in Educational Technology Leadership from The George Washington University. In 2004, Mark again shifted gears and accepted a corporate trainer position with a very successful Credit Union in New Mexico. Since retiring from this position, Mark has focused on sharing his experiences, both in business and real estate investing through his writing.
When growing up in the piney woods of East Texas, one his main role models was his grandfather, a Southern Baptist minister, who when his wasn’t preaching and ministering to his flock, was writing poetry and treatises on spirituality and religion. Mark, himself, was a youth minister and learned a great deal about the real needs of real people. This fundamental philosophy is what motivates the author to write and share his experiences.
