Melissa Hall was born in 1980 and raised in Oregon City, OR. A true Oregonian, she enjoyed the country life, showing horses, giving riding lessons and training throughout her school career. She was married in August 2000 to Chris Hall and now has 3 boys. After living in town most of her married life, she and her family have been able to move back to the country, her dream, in the little town of Jefferson, OR.
She enjoys riding her horse, drawing and painting, playing piano and serving in the Lord's work through His New Testament Church. Melissa is a work at home mom who also home schools her boys. God and her family are most important to her and everything else revolves around them.
Melissa currently runs a website on making soy candles and has sold over 1000 copies of The Soy Candle Making Book. She has several other websites as well that she has plans for, and has studied website building and design for over 10 years.
In keeping with her love of art, she is also an amateur photographer that enjoys using her iPhone to challenge her creativity. Though she took a photography class in high school, she really began taking photos so she could eventually use them for paintings one day. She has since fallen in love with photography, however, and enjoys finding ways to use her photos as inspiration for others on her Instagram account @melissa.m.hall
