Mike Stepanovich

Wine journalist Mike Stepanovich has been covering the wine industry since 1985 and judging wines since 1987. Mike is an avid wine collector who also teaches wine history, wine appreciation and wine-and-food-pairing classes.

His work has appeared in such national and international publications as International Wine Review, Wine News and Wine Business Monthly.

He travels extensively and has reported on wine developments in Europe as well as the United States.

Mike has judged numerous wine competitions including the American Wine Competition, Indianapolis International Wine Competition, Florida International Wine Competition, Pacific Rim International Wine Competition, Riverside International Wine Competition, San Francisco International Wine Competition, San Diego International Wine Competition and Long Beach Grand Cru.

He made wine from grapes he grew himself and from other sources from 2000 to 2012. He resides in Bakersfield, California.
