A. Cole

A.Cole (1992-) was born in Reston, Virginia. A. Cole was raised in Virginia her whole life and attended multiple universities there. In college, she studied Literature and English concepts. She spent two years of her life teaching grade school classes in the same school system she graduated from. In 2016 she self-published her first book titled "When I Grow Up, I Want To Be Myself". It garnered over $1000 just in pre-sale purchases and received a glowing review from Kirkus Reviews in February 2017. Her debut book is about individuality and self-love. A. Cole wrote this book in response to the lack of diversity she saw in the characters of her daughter's personal library. Her work reflects the colorful and diverse world we live in today.
