Having had the privilege to study texts which impart invaluable spiritual wisdom, from the world renowned scholars of Advaita Vedanta, Swami Dayananda Saraswati and his eminent disciples, Anjani has been actively involved in teaching Yoga philosophy at various Yoga certification programs. Anjani decided to compile this guidebook to address the need for an easy-to-use handbook on the authentic teachings of Yoga philosophy, as taught by the traditional scholars of Vedanta.
Proceeds from this book will be donated to AIM for Seva, http://www.aimforseva.org/
Three important points were considered for this book:
• How does a person get access to the important teachings of Yoga on fitness and wellness of the "mind"?
• What version of Yoga will be passed on to our future generations? Yoga as a mere physical exercise OR a complete system of Yoga, Yoga as the science of right living?
• In the absence of any methodology or standardized text books, how does a Yoga teacher trainee understand the profound topics of Yoga philosophy and how do they meet the certification requirement of 40 to 60 hours study of Yoga philosophy?
