Linnea Westerlind

Linnea Westerlind is a Seattle-area native who grew up spending a lot of time outdoors with her parents and sister.

In 2009 she started a project to visit all the parks in Seattle and write about them on her blog, www.yearofseattleparks.com, which is now a resource of nearly five hundred city, regional and state parks.

Linnea works as a communications and marketing consultant for nonprofits and businesses, and she also writes articles about parks and outdoor adventures for ParentMap magazine.

Together with her husband and three sons, she enjoys skiing, hiking, biking and camping throughout the Pacific Northwest. She lives in Seattle.
