Peter B. Brace

Peter Brace is an author and island natural history hiking guide living on Nantucket Island 28 miles off the southeastern coast of Massachusetts. Originally from Concord, MA and Maine, Peter, in addition to 2012's "Nantucket: A Natural History", also wrote "Walking Nantucket: A Walker's Guide to Exploring Nantucket on Foot" published in 2004. A daily island hiker with his dog, Kismet, Peter is currently working on a second volume of Nantucket walks. In 2015, Peter launched Nantucket Walkabout, his guided island wilderness hiking service.
