E.Q. Wright

As a Minnesota native, E.Q. Wright's inspiration for writing began after meeting a special tortoise named Toby at the Honolulu Zoo. It led to his first middle grade novel (Galįpagos or Bust!) and an unexpected passion for developing children's stories with a reverence for nature and animals. He's currently involved with the Education Internship program at Como Park Zoo & Conservatory, while also developing curriculum that inspires kids to write their own stories.
