(*You must use air quotes whenever discussing Fenton Cooper*) Fenton Cooper is a self-proclaimed “author” with a stream-of-consciousness "style" who in his “day job” does “shady things,” has some “sketchy” contacts with “Japanese organized crime.” He “imports” automobiles that may or may not pass California emissions standards. He’s also a main character in Michael Bunker’s book Hell and the Sea.

Q: Why is TIME LOOTER 1 called an “Episode” instead of a “Part” – as in a serial.

A: Fenton Cooper doesn’t understand books. He wants to be a great writer, but he is phenomenally lazy. So he uses his “Yakuza money” to pay for editors and others who make his ham-handed pounding on an old Selectric typewriter readable. His style is not suitable to self-reflection or even self-awareness. His hired flunkies are responsible for making his craziness “make sense.” The point is that Fenton only understands Television… and not modern, streaming through Netflix television. He only understands 80s Japanese television where every episode ends in a crazy cliffhanger. So these are not “parts,” but “episodes.” There will be four episodes in Season 1 of Time Looter.

Q: How are Michael Bunker and Forbes West involved?

A: As part of a plea bargain deal for some bad decisions involving the so-called “robbery” of a Zales Jewelry store, Michael and Forbes have agreed to help an up-and-coming author try to find some success.

Q: So, what’s the deal with TIME LOOTER? Aliens and Time Travel?

A: We have no idea. We read the first episode and despite the fact that it took hundreds of hours to make it read like a real story, we don’t know where Fenton is going with it. But here’s the skinny on Episode 1. Casey Atlas is kind of a scumbag. Like a real scumbag. He’s rich, entitled, dense, occasionally vicious, always crude, and he’s a huge failure at this thing we call “life.” When his rich daddy dies, his uncle Jackie makes him go back to college to get an advanced degree or else Casey loses his inheritance. Long story short, Casey ends up as part of a time travel experiment and decides to rob the Titanic. On the way, mayhem and hi-jinks ensue.
