As a child I enjoyed inventing and designing incredible and very complicated machines. Some had to be used to solve my personal problems, such as the car to take a bath without getting out of bed or the machine gun for snacks. He fired bursts of snacks and if one was gaping at the right distance he could eat a lot of them in a short time. Before putting it on the market, I would have tried it on myself, of course.

Other inventions, on the other hand, had to solve the problems of the world. For example, I tried to invent a happiness machine, but I couldn't. When people asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up, I replied that I didn't really care about growing up, given the effects that this has on people, but if that really happened I would have liked to be an inventor. At this answer they smiled with that kind of smile that means: 'It's just a child's thing'. It is a smile that adults know how to do very well, no one knows how they learn it. Once I grew up I realized that those people were right: being an inventor is really something for children, not for adults. So I decided to become one, because the dreams that really matter are the ones you have as a child, and I started inventing stories that made people laugh, move and amaze those who read them. And after so many years I have finally managed to build the happiness machine: it is portable, light and colorful. It is called 'Book'.
