Tricia Guerra

Tricia Guerra is a physician assistant (PA) living outside of Dallas, TX with her husband René, three cats and horse, Shanti. She specializes in diabetes and lipid disorders at the North Texas VA Medical Center, working with military veterans. She came fashionably late to her profession as a PA, changing careers in her mid-thirties.

She is active in her Toastmasters club and has achieved the level of Advanced Communicator Gold. She is a certified HeartMath® trainer and coach and completed Chicken Soup for the Soul co-author, Jack Canfield’s Train the Trainer program. Using the skills she learned in these programs to support her through the challenges, she learned to ride a horse at an older age. She tells her story in the book, Fashionably Late: Real Life Stories of (Finally!) Showing Up!

Now in the autumn of her life, her priority is to cherish and and be fully present in each moment. Always passionate about service to others, she uses her own unique blend of skills, wisdom and experience to support others in living to their highest potential.
