Michael Papanek

Over the past 30 years, leadership consultant Michael Papanek has advised top executives at the world's best companies including Google, Microsoft, Yahoo!, Salesforce.com, Apple, Cisco, eBay and Kaiser Permanente. His methods for creating resilient organizations during change are used by global leaders like Telefonia, Chevron, Clorox, VMWare, Bank of America, AT&T, Sprint and Mercedes-Benz.

In addition to writing and speaking on Leadership, Michael Papanek is also the Principal Consultant and Founder of Michael Papanek Consulting (MPC), and has led successful large-scale change initiatives to increase organizational performance in complex, competitive markets.

Part coach, change agent, facilitator and tool-giver, Michael helps leaders and their teams think more strategically, accelerate their own growth, improve their influence and increase their resilience.

Prior to becoming an Organizational Change Consultant, Facilitator and Leadership Coach, Michael gained high-tech experience working in various technical and leadership roles at EDS, the global IT services company. As an expert on 21st century organizations, Papanek continues the legacy of his grandfather, Kurt Lewin, the psychologist known globally as the father of Organizational Development---the study of how human dynamics impact business results.

Michael is an avid sailor who enjoys racing and cruising in the SF Bay Area and around the world.
