C.B. Heinemann

C.B. Heinemann, a graduate of the University of Maryland, has been performing, recording and touring with rock and Irish music groups in the United States and Europe for more than 30 years. The Washington Post said his songs are “…among the best coming from either side of the Atlantic,” and Dirty Linen called him a “virtuoso.” He has written stories about his musical travels for The Washington Post, Boston Globe, Pittsburgh Post-Gazette, Philadelphia Inquirer, Cool Traveler, Big World Travel, Whistling Fire, Florida English, Battered Suitcase, Lowestoft Chronicles, Inside/Outside Literary Journal, One Million Stories, and Ascent. His other stories have appeared in Berkeley Fiction Review, Cigale, Rathalla Review, Howl, Storyteller, Whistling Fire, Danse Macabre, Fate, and Car & Travel. His stories have been featured in anthologies published by Florida English, One Million Stories, and Whereabouts. C.B.'s latest novel, Fortress of Dreams, has been receiving great reviews! The Last Buskers of Summer, his first novel, is based on his travels as a street musician in Europe. Tales From the Musical Trenches is a collection of his short stories about the musical life.
