There came a time in my life when I realized although I had accepted Jesus as my Savior, I had not gotten to know Him - really know Him. He offers us the opportunity to have an intimate relationship with Him. That is too precious a gift to not accept. I finally gave up all that I was clinging to - my baggage, my past and my people pleasing - and learned to put Jesus first in my life. I came to understand that Jesus had proven He was committed to me, now I needed to commit my life to Him. Once I began to do my part, I began to grow closer to my Savior and truly experience walking with Him. Is it always easy? No. Is it worth it? Absolutely! You, too, can have a deep connection to the King of Kings. There is nothing like it.
