Bob Pitt

Born in the 50s, Bob Pitt is a son of the Black Country, in the British Midlands. He served in 16th/5th The Queen's Royal Lancers, an armoured recce regiment. Since leaving the forces he has worked in various roles.

He currently lives in the English Lake District with his wife Klara, they met when they were working in the hospitality industry.

" I wrote Howerton because during my time as an instructor in the ACF I found that many young lads simply do not read books. Several cadets told me that they were sick of magic or vampire stories and preferred something a bit more gritty and real. I set out to write Howerton for these young people, I hope that my small and poor contribution gets at least one youngster reading from the vast library that is out there."
