Reen Rose’s life was a positive one, until it wasn’t. Her journey into understanding happiness began when she experienced a deep depression in her early thirties. Realizing she lacked the skills to manage her wellbeing, she began delving into evidence-based research. Not only did she want to improve her own life, but she was also determined to do everything she could to help her children avoid similar struggles.
Reen Rose's work is grounded in scientific evidence and is designed to inspire and guide individuals towards happier, more fulfilling lives. She emphasizes the importance of taking an active role in one's own well-being rather than relying on external circumstances or others for happiness.
Through her speaking engagements, writing, and educational programs, Reen aims to equip individuals with the skills necessary to manage their well-being effectively. Her personal journey has fueled her determination to ensure that others have the tools necessary to navigate life's challenges and maintain their sense of well-being.
As well as being a clinically depressed happiness maven, Reen is a passionate life-long learner, TEDx speaker, author, and the creator of the Modelling Happiness Movement. Her certifications include Microsoft Office Specialist Master Trainer, Myers Briggs Certified Practitioner, and a degree in Education. She and her life-partner live with their two dogs in the Okanagan Valley in British Columbia.
