Lee Hall-Perkins received his bachelor’s degree in religious studies and master of divinity from Vanderbilt University. He is a historian of African American religious history, writing on topics related to race, religion, class, and sexuality. He is a contributing writer for BlackPast.org and has been published in the African American Lectionary. As an ordained Pentecostal minister in the Church of God in Christ, Lee also has special interest in the academic study of Black Pentecostalism. With over ten years of ministry experience, he demonstrates proven strengths in church administration, preaching and teaching, college ministry, and multi-media ministry.
