John S. Shaw III

As a psychology professor and former trial lawyer, I bring a wide range of expertise to my three novels: The Piedmont Springs Variant, The Yellowstone Directive, and Death by DNA.

After receiving my law degree from Stanford Law School, I was a public defender for almost a decade in Los Angeles, California. I handled thousands of cases and completed over one hundred jury trials. My fascination with human behavior led me to return to graduate school to pursue a doctorate in psychology, and I earned a Ph.D. in social psychology from UCLA. For the past 28 years, I have been a Psychology Professor at Lafayette College in Easton, Pennsylvania.

I hope you enjoy reading my books as much as I enjoyed writing them!
