Dr Ian Devonshire is a neuroscientist, author, and science communicator. He has spearheaded a range of innovative, inter-disciplinary research projects involving universities, schools, private companies, charities, and the government, and is passionate about applying rigorous neuroscientific knowledge to novel areas of study.
Ian is a Chartered Scientist registered with the Society for Biology, sits on the Education committee of the British Science Association, is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts, and recently co-authored a book about neuroscience for school teachers, The Learning and the Brain Pocketbook (2011, Teachers Pocketbooks), which was nominated for two awards at the Education Resource Awards 2012.
