Carissa Porter

Carissa lives in Maryland with her husband, two teen daughters and yellow lab. She is an avid reader who never dreamed of writing until one day a character popped in her head and started telling a story. When Carissa is not curled on the sofa reading or writing, she can be found in the car hauling two busy teens to softball practice, piano lessons, and many other activities. She has an unhealthy addiction to chocolate, especially the Dairy Milk she receives in care packages from the UK. She one day hopes to move to a mostly deserted beach where she can spend her time soaking up the sun and reading all day.
