Bethan has written for publishers including Cambridge University Press.
"Gabriel" was her first book for children, telling the Christmas story through the eyes of the fastest-flying angel. "The Water Wheel Pirates - The tiniest Man" describes the fantastical adventure of three children who discover a shrunken pirate. "The Waffle Makers" is a fairytale adventure for readers with a sweet-tooth. And in "Snow Star" Mim and Tim discover a warm, glowing star falling out of the sky...
"If I Were a Bee..." brings together rhyme, humour and science, and is packed with pictures - for anyone interested in nature and curious about bees! "If I Were a Ladybird..." is the second funny book in the Rhyming Science series.
"The Alphabet Rhyme" is a playful ABC poem, with pictures, sheet music and a sing-along video (available on this page) - to make learning letters easy. The font used is OpenDyslexic which is fun for children.
Bethan also runs story-writing and book-making workshops and reads regularly in schools and libraries. Her talks for older school students highlight the many ways of using writing to communicate everyday.
Brought up in Britain, Bethan now lives near the Alps, with her husband, children and rescue pussy cats. Among her great pleasures are playing with words, whistling and hiking.
