Marie Sutro

Marie Sutro is an award-winning and bestselling crime fiction author. Her Kate Barnes series has won multiple awards including the IBPA Benjamin Franklin Award for Best New Voice in Fiction, the CIBA Clue Award for Thriller/Suspense, and the Authors on the Air Book of the Year Award for Best Suspense Novel. She is a member of Sisters In Crime and a volunteer with California Library Literacy Services.

Her great-grandfather, grandfather and father all served in the San Francisco Police Department; collectively inspiring her writing. She resides in Northern California and is currently at work on her next book.
