Diamond Mike Watson

Diamond Mike Watson earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from Indiana University. His story has been featured in the Los Angeles Times, the Orange County Register and CBS News.

Watson is a senior diamond merchant, a GIA gemologist, and the president of Gallery of Diamonds Jewelers. His jewelry designs are worn by tens of thousands of Americans.

He is the creator of the FlyUp foundation and has lectured to thousands of schoolkids, inspiring them to achieve their dreams. In 1993, he founded what is now the largest mothers appreciation contest in the nation called, Why Mom Deserves a Diamond®. The winner of the contest receives a diamond or other genuine gemstone to give to mom.

Born without a name and adopted as a child, Watson is an advocate of adoption reform. He is a master story-teller of imaginative tales and a prolific writer in the subject of adoption from the standpoint of adoptees who are searching for their biological origins.
