A. W. Boudreau

A. W. Boudreau was born in Detroit, Michigan and grew up in Roseville, Michigan. At 18 he worked at Chrysler Corporation, and later became an automotive designer. In 1970, he joined the Detroit Police Department. After many stints undercover and working mostly Special Operations Felony Units, he became a (Big Four) Cruiser Crew Chief. After retiring, he went back in the Automotive Industry and became a Lead Studio Engineer at General Motors. He later became an entrepreneur creating his own business from the ground up. After nearly 40 years, he started writing down his stories from the Police Department that were long buried, which ultimately became his first published book. He has five children and six grand-children. He now lives in a northern suburb of Detroit with his wife, youngest daughter and Boxer, Izzy.
