David McCauley

David McCauley is the prolific writer and the Author of the book; "Addiction To Recovery: Unlocking Your Potential" available here on Amazon and Amazon Kindle.

David is the Chairman of the Board/Founder of Oak Valley Foundation / CEO Oak Valley Recovery Media LLC and has over 28 years experience working in with Addiction and Recovery. An educator of dealing with addiction in today's world, and is in long-term recovery. As a speaker and educator of how to recover from addiction, David is always available to share this journey of faith, resilience, perseverance, self-preservation and never giving up from the depths of destruction to a profound new life.

This deep inner soul-searching journey is about a transformation of one's life. How as human beings we have the innate ability to find our true self and rise above life’s trials and tribulations. An understanding of what is the true meaning of life.

"It is in our seeing, our knowing, our understanding, our believing and focusing our attention that we receive the gift of happiness, inner peace and the freedom we so desire. One must hear, one must see, one must seek out, one must take, as one does not have to ask the one who gives."

David's mission is helping those who suffer from the effects of addiction in our communities, our nation and around the world through education and to provide help in finding treatment and resources for those unable to financially afford the necessary help needed to live a life free from addiction. It is why a portion of sales from the book go back into the foundation to honor the vision for Oak Valley a place where we cultivate people's lives through awareness, education, prevention and the necessary support needed to help individuals renew their life.

David lives in Pine Brook, New Jersey. He enjoys cooking, reading good books, and helping many in their recovery journey. He studied at Rutgers University-New Brunswick, and became a Certified Drug and Alcohol Counselor/Certified Social Worker 1991–1993 - Center for Drug and Alcohol Studies.
